Perhaps a testament to Pluto’s non-planetary status is that only the public thinks Pluto should still be a planet, wheras scientists who have spent their entire life studying planets all agree it behaves less like a planet and more like an asteroid. It’s smaller than our moon. In fact, it’s so small that Pluto and it’s moon Charon are so close in size that they are widely considered to orbit one another in a binary system.
